Parnvoose is a cove located in the Parish of Landewednack at the tip of the Lizard Peninsula. The name is Cornish and is derived from the Cornish words porth (cove) and 'the' and fos (bank, ditch, wall). So Parnvoose means cove of the bank...

Guest Review:- We really enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage with its fantastic garden...My family stayed at Parnvoose Cottage. The general consensus amongst family members was unanimous - we couldn't have made a better choice. We were in close proximity to the Ocean, hiking trails, village, privacy, and staying in a lovely and well maintained thatched cottage. Every evening we were priviledged to have visitors of the wild kind - Badgers, Owls, bats etc. We enjoyed our meals on the terrace surrounded by lovely gardens. Taking everything into consideration we could not have made a better choice. The only consideration one should make is to stock up on needed groceries before arriving. The little village of Lizard does have a variety of eating establishments for those not into doing their own food but for my family cooking our own meals was by choice. What we were looking for is what we found and we would will return.
